Why I want to write about BAC
Beside promoting, writing and educating people about BAC,
I also use BAC personally, or I should say "eat" BAC as it is a food!
I also try and often fail to apply much of the information
that you will read in this book in my own life and journey towards health.
So am I a full fledge nutritional or medical scientist? Nope,
I have a bachelor of sciences and a doctorate in naturopathy.
Otherwise, I have studied foods and diets dating back from eating
my grand mother's vegetable soups at home, to macrobiotics of the 60's,
to vegan and ayurvedic, I studied with a few indian vegetarian masters.
I have consciously lived and researched natural health in one way or
another since I was 16 years old when I was introduced to yoga and vegetarianism,
and then to natural foods and vitamins by my sister who worked in a
health food store. For the last 6 years, I have been blessed with studying
with a real field researcher and scientist, Dr. Michael Kiriac, who holds
a PhD in cellular nutrition and who is likely the leading authority
on BAC and algae technologies and its use for human and animal health.
I also like all of us have common sense and a long personal
and professional real life experience that has help me understand the subject.
I'm also the editor of BioNews, a health eNewsletter
covering a wide variety of health topics. I've studied hundreds of
books on health and nutrition, and I've invested thousands of hours in
researching the links between foods and health.
I started eating BAC in late 2000, at which time I stopped entirely from taking
at last count 23 different supplements of vitamins, minerals, and
other separate and isolates nutrients. Incredibly and inexpectedly to myself,
I have overcomed all of the health issues that I was plagued with 6 years ago;
45 extra pounds, chronic back problems, serious middle age fatigue and energy issues,
mild bipolar and depression tendency, colds and flus, hypoglycemic and chronic
acidity issues.
I have since lost 40 pounds of weight, ran my first and several more marathons,
and gradually evolved to a diet of healthier organic, and natural foods. For the record,
In the last six (6) years, I have not had one cold or flu episode lasting more then a few hours.
As a matter of fact I say that have no more colds or flu, period.
I have not missed one hour of work or fun due to being sick or even tired.
In the first year, I had periodic doubt and the thought of "placebo" came to mind.
Now six years later, there is no doubt ever.
I live a very active high stress life. I don't eat perfectly,
I make food mistake and other health mistakes. I eat little animal products,
I use BAC as my self defense against the pollutants and toxic's ingredients that I consume,
or that I am subjected to. I use BAC as my assurance that I get my essential
vitamins, proteins, minerals and other important nutrients daily. I use BAC to
get the additional nutritional bonuses of rare phytonutrients and trace elements
that are otherwise impossible to obtain in our daily diets.
I use BAC to elevate and sustain my energy and my mood. I use BAC to protect me from
potential cardiovascular diseases, from hypoglycemics and other glandular imbalances.
I use BAC to protect me from cancer and Alzheimer. And the best part about it is that BAC
is a food... I can finally apply one of my most profound belief "Let Thy Food be Thy Medicine".
I am a highly skeptical individual. When I found out about BAC, I was elated to have
found such a solution in one. Soon after, my usual skeptical brain kicked in with
disbelief and questions. In 6 years, I have pried and investigated BAC from so many angles
and perspectives. And best, I have been quizzed with those same questions and
some much tougher ones from so many clients and friends. I am grateful for those as
it forced me to get the answers and to learn even more about The Magic of BAC.
I've compared BAC and continue to do so daily with "leading", "hot", "popular" supplements,
researching their ingredients (proteins, vitamins, enzymes, antioxidant's, greens, etc.)
one at a time, their nutritional value, their bio availability, and much more,
and after 6 years and hundreds of hours, I have found nothing that comes anywhere close
to BAC. In the next pages, I hope to convey the rational's and information leading me to this conclusion.
I am biased about BAC, and I promote it to all who want to hear.
Actually its the only supplement that I have promoted for the last 6 years.
You won't find me pitching isolate vitamins and minerals. Most of the information
on these pages is based on the knowledge and specific information that
I have received from interviews and mentoring from Dr. Michael Kiriac, PhD,
and the reading of hundreds of publicly available articles, web site pages,
and several books on the subject; and not the least based on successful
personal experience and results with my own health and that of my direct clients and
of the clients of health professionals working with BAC.
OK, let's take a look at BAC. One of the first things people ask me about
BAC is, "What is it made of anyway?"
